Lýsing
The Pistol M1903 was accepted as Swedish Pistol m/1907 on the 16 December 1907 – it was the standard side arm of the Swedish military.
The first 10000 pistols were made by Fabrique National d’Armes de Guerre, Herstal in Belgium (of which this is one). They were bought from the Swedish agent – Paul Berghaus AB in Gothenburg and were checked out and stamped by Carl Gustafs Stads gun factory in Eskilstuna. On this example, the inspectors stamps appear under the Swedish Crown on the rear end of the pistol.
FN shipped Belgian-manufactured Model 1903 guns to Sweden from 1908 until the advent of World War I in 1914. Production by the Husqvarna company began in 1917.
This one is in pristine condition and an early production example. Chambered in 9mm Browning Long (also in stock)
